By accessing or using Simple Data Cleaner ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use our service. This includes free users, subscribers, and API users.
Client-Side Processing: Simple Data Cleaner performs all data validation and cleaning entirely within your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.

Subscription Plans: We offer various subscription plans with different features and pricing. All subscriptions are billed according to the terms outlined on our pricing page.
Lifetime Beta Licence: The Lifetime Beta plan is a one-time payment that grants you perpetual access to the Simple Data Cleaner validator set available at the time of purchase (currently UK phone numbers, National Insurance numbers, postcodes, and bank sort codes) together with maintenance fixes and usability improvements for that specific feature set. The licence does not automatically include future validator families, enterprise integrations, or major feature versions released after the beta period.
Payment:
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until that time. Lifetime Beta licences are non-recurring and remain active for the covered validator set without the ability to cancel for a refund once the licence is delivered.
Upgrades: When we release new validator families or major versions beyond the Lifetime Beta feature set, we may offer optional upgrade pricing. Accepting an upgrade will not affect your underlying Lifetime Beta entitlement.
Refunds: Due to the client-side nature of our service, we do not offer refunds. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the service, please contact us for assistance.
No Server-Side Processing: Simple Data Cleaner performs all data cleaning in your web browser. Your data files are never transmitted to our servers. We cannot and do not access, store, or process your data.
Account Information: We only collect and store the minimum information necessary to operate your account, including:
GDPR Compliance: Since we do not process your data, we are not acting as a data processor under GDPR. You retain full responsibility for any data you clean using our service.

Disclaimer: While we make every effort to provide accurate validation rules for UK data formats, you should independently verify critical data. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from the use of cleaned data.
Our Rights: The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Simple Data Cleaner and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Rights: Your data files remain your property. We do not claim ownership of any data you process through our service.
Open Source: Our validation algorithms are available as open source software. You may review, modify, and use the validation logic according to the applicable open source license.
Service Availability: We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Browser Limitations: The service is limited by your browser's capabilities and available memory. Very large files may not process correctly on all devices.
No Warranty: The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Damages: In no event shall Simple Data Cleaner be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the service.
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
The Simple Data Cleaner application may introduce additional validator families, automation features, or enterprise functionality over time. Each release may be associated with a distinct feature-set version. Your access level is determined by the subscription or licence attached to your account.
The Lifetime Beta licence corresponds to the feature-set version available on the purchase date (Simple Data Cleaner v1 – UK validator suite). You will retain full access to this version even if subsequent versions are released. Access to later versions may require a new subscription or upgrade purchase.
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
